it’s not empty, change the filter to custom instead of plex
there’s no way to add using trakt directly. you’ll need to use a media center like kodi/plex/stremio or another app like rippple

works fine as of now. i noticed it was running a cloudflare check so that delayed it. perhaps its been resolved
It will run once today and then massively stall and fail again. Website is pretty much unusable in its current state while support is too busy with new non-paying customers fixing items rather than respond to paying customers. So perhaps it hasn’t been resolved and is just not important enough for them to care.
Hell I can’t even cancel my Trakt VIP because it’s still showing my sub as PayPal on my settings which was canceled months ago when I fell for the trap of the 50% off for two years extension and had to switch to a credit card. I’m in a neverending circle going to app.link.com to try and cancel / set it for non-renewal only to see that I have to handle it on the Trakt website only to be told PayPal isn’t the current processing agent for my sub… and emails to support haven’t been answered in months.

What’s the point in having ‘custom library’ if we literally can’t even edit it? Not only can we not directly add to it, I can’t even remove things from it. I am stuck with items I added previously and have no way of ever getting rid of them.
So you’re saying that we can’t use the official Trakt App or website to perform simple functions but can use apps created by 2 devs here for their Apps that utilize the Trakt API? How in the world does that make any sense? They can’t fix the “official” item but can make it work on their controlled Apps?
Do you realize how utterly absurd that sounds? Not to mention the huge conflict of interest.
those apps were created before they were trakt employees and luckily for us they still maintain them. yes its unfortunate that you need to use a different app instead of the native trakt app to perform this task but at least its still an option. or like many others you can make your own API app using AI to code it for you. you can dislike the comment all you want but its still valuable information for anyone else trying to do the same
Seriously bro? Without being rude or sarcastic, but what do you think I paid Trakt $60 for? Your honest suggestion is for ME to write my own API? Dude, I don’t have a clue where to begin with that. Maybe you could write it for me…
you already use the Plex Sync and Plex Webhook, and you troubleshoot those like a madman. What’s one more app to do what you want that you wont have to troubleshoot.
I dont know code either. You can take care of writing the code using AI, just prompt it.
Are you in the habit of visiting a mechanic at a garage and after paying him for service being told “there’s the tools, fix it yourself?” or have a landscaper tell you “push the mower yourself if you want it done”. Because that’s the advice you’re giving here…
But on a different note, Plex Sync and a Webhook are a one-time setting. Or should be. Click it and forget it. It’s something ADVERTISED by Trakt as being something they provide for $60 VIP fee. Something that’s broken. Testing something they provided and I use doesn’t equate remotely to wanting to develop my own Claude assisted vibe coded crap to make it work. That’s a recipe for disaster as without knowing anything about coding and AI access I’m far more likely to either share info with AI I have no intention of sharing or leave something vulnerable somewhere.
As for installing another app by some third party, why should I? I pay Trakt $60. I am not paying these other folks. End of discussion. Do you go in a store pay your receipt and accept that you might have to go elsewhere to get the item you paid for?

I think we have every right to be complaining about being thirsty when there used to be plenty of water, they got us depending on them for water, made us buy subscriptions for the water, and then TOOK THE WATER AWAY FOR NO REASON
i get you. they should have kept the feature the way it was. i don’t use plex or any media centers and id prefer not to have to use rippple because i like native apps or to have the function on the website like it used to be.
for now, this is a temporary solution/workaround to handle what is currently missing. at the point, complaining to complain is getting people silenced or banned because it’s just fueling more people to complain along with them and any constructive feedback gets lost in the noise. let the downvoting begin
