Onde upon a time, Trakt was free and we could see everything we wanted. Now we have to pay quite a lot for nothing. It takes weeks for me to see a new episode of almost all of my shows. I also pay for Real Debrid, so I do not understand what is happening. If nothing changes, I’ll most surely give up on Trakt after all these years connected.
Unless you are talking about episodes appearing in your watchlist or up next, “seeing a new episode” has nothing to do with Trakt. It is only used for tracking, not watching.
Like jluftman said, trakt is to track what you watched and what you want to watch. Nothing streams from or to trakt. Any of your addons connect to trakt for those purposes. If your addon isn’t finding shows it will be specific to that addon. There are many that are no longer supported. I suggest getting on the kodiaddons subReddit and asking there since that wouldn’t be discussed here.

OP is probably using an add-on that has been abandoned or needs updating. It could also be an outdated or abandoned scraper that the add-on is leveraging.
All of it not a Trakt issue.
