Be able to move tv shows in progress that are finished from in progress too up to date/ended

Short description of the issue

  • I have completely watched gravity falls, 100% watched. I like to rewatch episodes of the show. When i rewatch a single episode of the show, it takes it to in progress. This is handy if im rewatching a show, but if i just wanted to watch a single episode, there is no way to move it back to up to date or ended that i know of.

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • Move a already completed show from in progress back into up to date/ended when rewatching individual episodes

check on the website if you’ve marked it as “rewatching” by clicking on the 3 dots on the title page. If it shows Stop Rewatching that should fix it

This is a somewhat different issue, but it appears related to how Progress V2 decides whether a show belongs under Up to Date or Ended.

The After (2014) is correctly listed on both TMDB and Trakt with a status of “Pilot.” Only the pilot episode was produced, and the planned series was subsequently canceled.

However, after watching the pilot, Trakt places the show under Up to Date rather than Ended.

I don’t think the show’s status should be changed from “Pilot,” since that accurately describes it and matches TMDB. The issue seems to be how Trakt maps that status into the Progress categories.

“Pilot” is effectively a terminal status for a series like this: there are no future episodes to wait for. For Progress purposes, could Pilot be treated like Ended/Canceled, while still retaining “Pilot” as the show’s actual metadata status?

Otherwise, completed standalone pilots remain permanently listed as Up to Date even though the series is over.
