Can't update lists

Short description of the issue

  • Unable to add items to my current lists or create new lists, as it says I’m not a VIP and have reached limit. My VIP is paid up to October 2027.

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • It was working fine a few days ago and could still see I had 108 lists out of 500 used. Has the VIP limit changed or can my account me checked if it’s changed at all.

The limit changed to 100 in February. Perhaps they later increased it to the 500 you saw and it reverted back to 100 ???

@jluftman 100 lists we are able to have or 100 shows/movies per list? I have like 10 lists but hundreds of episodes/titles on each list and than it just stopped yesterday letting me add anymore.

the image you linked above shows the limits, its just if they changed something they havent told us. i believe a non-vip commented what it looks like for them and it shows what their current limits are and what they could be right next to it in that same section

the total list items section covers that other question. so rather than say you can have 100 items per list with 100 lists, you can have up to 100 lists with 100k items between them however you split it.

but if its not allowing you to add more to a list then yeah something either changed or its a bug because you’re clearly way below that limit

if i can ask for your lists, what does FO or F0 mean I’m just curious

ah ok neat. also you don’t give yourself enough credit on here. you do just fine

in your example that’s correct it should work that way

from your screenshot it says you only have 18k total list items so nowhere near the limit so it’s gotta be a bug or a change they haven’t told us about. especially if the list you can’t add to is smaller than another

I have five lists that I cannot add items to; they contain 2,690, 1,341, 1,166, 2,097 and 3,378 items respectively.

must be a bug, especially if your other lists that you can’t add add to have higher numbers

@Ray_o thank you that took me a good minute to find even with your photos but I found it. If we are allowed 100k as someone mentioned I should still have about 12,000 I can add to lists so yeah this whole thing is weird.

@otakunet21 do you know if this is 100k total including the all time watched ? Or is this 100k only for the personal lists created?

@changnoi good to know its not matching I have thousands on some lists but looks like I’m about to start manually counting which is annoying.

they said a while ago that there was going to be a watched history limit of 100k but either it’s not implemented now or it was changed because my number shows only 555 out of 100k. i know my watched count is at least 7k and i’ve only got a few lists but i don’t think it has even that total of 555

If that is the case, it should of stopped me from making new lists, as my last one was only created a few weeks ago and no error popped up at the time

Can someone from support please chime in? Are Lists capped to a maxiumum of 1000 items now?

I’m having the same problem - I haven’t reached my limit as VIP, but it locked one of my lists and I can’t add anything. Following this.

@Pro4TLZZ they can’t be because I have a list that has over 3,000 on it.

These all look like smart lists, why not use that instead to keep them updated automatically?
