How can i disable the watching streak on the homepage of v3?
It is useless to me.

I just got this update as well. Design-wise, it feels like a total outlier. It doesn’t fit the app’s aesthetic at all. Plus, regardless of the look, the information itself is honestly pretty useless for me.

that’s pretty neat. i haven’t been able to watch daily recently due to work. that could be bad for me considering i like streaks haha

Can we just pleeeeease have an option to disable this thing, just please. It’s not that much useful to see it everytime I open web, also with this sad candle there it feels like we mourn someone.

Another vote to remove the watch streak, or at least have the option to… Pointless for me and takes up room. Doesn’t work reliably either as watch stuff daily (almost without fail) and it still seems to reset.

Hm yeah I’d also prefer to have an option to turn this off. Feels a bit like an outlier to me when compared to the rest of the website and does nothing for me except adding some irrational pressure…

Please give us an option to disable this useless Streak panel and while you’re at it, give us back the possibility to remove and rearrange other elements as well. I do not want this Social Activity crap (yes I know I can minimise it, I want it gone completely)

Not a big fan of the watching streak, but I have to say the new clickable version is a bit better, at least it’s showing some data about your last month activity. Still better than nothing at all…
One thing I really don’t get is why it is showing days in the future (always saying “future is unwritten”). What’s the sense of that? Wouldn’t be more useful/interesting to show the last 7 days in the past instead? Also, would be nice if clicking on days would lead you to that point in the history page (like it was in V2).
Anyway, I completely agree that the whole Dashboard should be way more customizable, with the possibility to remove or rearrange elements and also decide what to show inside each one (thumbnail, poster, etc.).

To make it even more annoying, today at the beginning of the month, previous days in April are shown as empty (even if they are not). 🙄 🤦♂️

I have the same issue. Days are showing up empty even if I did watch something on those days.

I’d also love to be able to disable this entire section. Like previously mentioned by other users, it doesn’t seem to fit in the design of the app and I don’t really care for the information. I watch something when I feel like watching something.

I’d like to bring this back up again… as this was just now introduced in the Trakt for iOS app… There NEEDS to be a toggle to turn this off. it’s taking extra space for a feature I don’t really care for as i use trakt everyday already… my streak will eventually be like 1000000000 days which i don’t need the app telling me that ☹ . Please oh please give us a toggle to turn this off across all apps and website…
@Sonply can this be brought up to the development team to see if that’s possible?

If you go into Settings → Preview you can now enable a work in progress feature “Edit Mode” which enables you to modify particular screens sections visibility. After enabling in preview go to the footer and edit button will appear there (this will be re-placed).
This is for WEB only for now though.
