Short description of the issue
Creating a new API application fails with a generic error. The request returns HTTP 400 with {"error":"github_required"}, but the form does not explain what GitHub action is required.
Detailed description with additional context about the workflow
I recently created a Trakt account and am trying to create a personal API application.
I filled in the application name and description, used the documented urn:ietf:wg:oauth:2.0:oob redirect URI for device authentication, and left CORS empty. Saving shows only “Unable to save the application. Please try again.” I also tried an HTTPS redirect URI, with the same result.
Filling JavaScript origin (CORS) and the description, as well as filling an actual URL in the redirect callback renders the same result,
Tried in Chrome and in Firefox, the failing request returns HTTP 400: {"error":"github_required"}.
Could you clarify what this requirement means and how to complete it? It would help if the form displayed the specific validation error instead of a generic message.
