Importing of tv series

Short description of the issue

• New tv series “The Next Step: Cheer” exists on TMDB, but episodes and information are not updating on Trakt.

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

• I have added the IMDB code to the show’s TMDB page as I am unable to directly import/update the show on Trakt. Any import help would be appreciated.

vip can import using the old site since we still have access to it. otherwise people can report missing items on the forums (here) and support would take a look. usually shows and movies will auto import now within 25 hours of the changes being made at TMDB

The main issue that I am having is that the episode, cast, and general show information from TMDB is not syncing to Trakt. For example, TMDB lists that it is a returning show, with 10 episodes released, and a larger cast list. Trakt is only listing it as in production with 0 episodes.

The data should refresh in up to 24 hours to match TMDB.
It takes a while to refresh fully, since the IMDB ID was added recently, and without an IMDB ID or a TVDB ID, we don’t import pages anymore.

How do you import ? I found 2 upcoming movies that isn’t on trak

At the bottom of V2 you can find the options to import a show or movie:

Keep in mind that movies will only import if they have an IMDB ID added at TMDB and TV Shows will only import if they have an IMDB ID or a TVDB ID added there.
If the IDs have been recently added, the page can take up to 24 hours to import.

Ya i understand this. They are both on imdb. So how do I import them?

Just go to the old website and click in one of those 2 links in the footer to import a show or movie. It will ask you for the ID of the item you want to import.
