Hi team, New joiner here. 🙂 Have only been using the service for a couple of days, but so far I loved it quite much! Just out of curious, why is only English allowed for Comments? Is there a specific context for that? If we are worrying about readability or the simplicity of communication, I guess that makes sense. But if that’s the case, would an auto-translate feature (like the one YouTube/Facebook is using) be the solution to it? 😃 Also, it’s kinda interesting to me that the Comments feature is English only, but Recommend feature actually supports foreign languages. Is that a happy bug? 😛 Best, Andres ---

Hi AP\_CHIN! Glad to hear you’re liking Trakt. At this time we’re a small staff and primarily English speakers. In order for us to moderate and provide a quality product, we need to be able to understand what’s being posted both in comments and in the show or movie data. Hopefully one day we’ll grow enough to be able to support multiple languages. ---

So when i submitted this 5 yrs ago, by Comment i mean the current Review feature. And Yes, after all these years, it still doesn’t support other languages (i.e. Only support English). I think i read it in some other threads here that this is an intended decision as the team is unable to control / review contents in other languages, which i seriously don’t think it makes any sense (come on auto-translation was available even before all the AI stuff came in, and now it’s even more convenient than ever). But well, it is what it is i guess. ---

hmmm, Interesting. But the feature you are talking about is not available to me. Do not see the option, and simply can not comment with simplified Chinese. Hi, Can you try to make the same comment in the website and see if it works? This might be a bug in the app, so please check if it works in the website. If it doesn’t, then it might be on both. ---

Thanks for reporting this. The issue is being tracked [here](https://github.com/trakt/trakt-apple/issues/186) now and will be fixed in the next version. ---
