Missing episode from smallville

Short description of the issue

  • Im watching smallville and noticed that the episode numbers on trakt dont match up in season 9

  • After season 9 episode 10 the episodes dont match up and its missing one episode

I don’t think the episode is missing per se. It looks like it’s one of many TMDB idiosyncrasies that Trakt inherits by using them as the data source.

If you look at the runtimes in Trakt the “Absolute Justice” episode has a runtime double the other episodes, so my guess is that this aired as a double episode and is a combination of the Society and Legends episodes.

Disclaimer - I know nothing about Smallville, had to deal with this with various shows in my Plex library over the years

Like the user above said, the listing is like that because that’s how TMDB lists that season.
According to a moderator there:

The episodes that are listed in your list as S09E11 and S09E12 were originally broadcasted as one single double length episode titled “Absolute Justice” in English,
Consequently, there is a total of only 21 episodes as visible in the dropdown list of this archived official page.
