IDK if this has been said, but a few things, I am using firefox and cannot go back to the old version there for some strange reason. When I go to any list, I do not see any info for that list, just like basics, for example, I would like to easily see how many items are in that lists. It would be nice to see for example, if I pull “Emmy Winners” lists to see the search results for lists and see how many items those lists have, immediately, in the search result, you can’t even see how may items are in the lists even when you click inside the lists.
Also, editing your own lists. what a mess. I used to edit lists from my phone app all the time by dragging and dropping where I want the movies/shows, I’m talking about the order. I can’t reorder the items on the app at all. I have to open the browser and do it through that. and in firefox on PC, the “Re-order” option should allow you to delete items from the lists as well, I mean you are actively re-ordering and you might want to delete or remove an item, why made us get out and remove individually then go back to the re-order. doesn’t make sense.
Please allows us to reorder in the phone apps and allow us to see the number of items in the list, and just basic info on lists/movies/shows. I use the feature where you can see when the movies were released around the world and when where they released on digital, movie theaters, download, etc., don’t see it in the new layout either.
I understand changing the visuals, but you are taken away core functionalities that I was happily paying for, if I can’t see or use the things that I was paying for, then this is a useless app that doesn’t deserve my renewal.
i’m on firefox and can still use the old site. sign out and back in using https://trakt.tv/signin to use your username and password. try clearing cache first and make sure any browser extensions are disabled. once you sign in you can go to https://trakt.tv/dashboard to get to the old site. i just checked on my pc and the signin page does load and i’ve been using the old dashboard for a while and it still takes me to it when i click my bookmark.

This post is about much more than this tho, things that will potentially end up not working and things that should be implemented in new versions. just frustration with the direction of not being able to do basic things.
the features are coming. they’re working with this new version to change how things look and feel but more importantly provide a more stable backend and allow for easier updates
