Show: Mousetrap ( [Trakt Web: Track Your Shows & Movies](http://trakt.tv/shows/mousetrap) )
Episode: Season 1, Episode 1 - “Premiere”, August 27th 2026, 6:00 PM

The show page itself has full, correct episode data (I can see S1E1 with a confirmed air date under Seasons \> Season 1), and a cover image was pulled in successfully after a manual refresh from TMDB.

However, the show does not appear at all in the /calendars/all/shows/new API endpoint for August 2026, even with zero filters applied (no genre/country/network params, plain unfiltered request). I confirmed this with a direct raw API call and manually checked every item returned - Mousetrap is not among them, and there’s only a single page of results (no pagination issue). I have made the page of premieres [A self-hosted PHP page for browsing new TV show premieres by month](https://forums.trakt.tv/t/a-self-hosted-php-page-for-browsing-new-tv-show-premieres-by-month/116985)

and while i was browsing i saw that this show was not there and i wondered what if other shows are not displaying correctly and missing out premieres.

Request used:
GET [https://api.trakt.tv/calendars/all/shows/new/2026-08-01/31?extended=full,images](https://api.trakt.tv/calendars/all/shows/new/2026-08-01/31?extended=full,images)

Raw JSON response attached for reference.

This looks like the same class of issue reported here before, e.g.:

- “Missing show in Calendar” ( [Missing show in Calendar](http://forums.trakt.tv/t/missing-show-in-calendar/19284) )
- “Show doesn’t appear on calendar” ([forums.trakt.tv/t/show-doesnt-appear-on-calendar/42180](http://forums.trakt.tv/t/show-doesnt-appear-on-calendar/42180))

Seems like the calendar index and the show/episode data aren’t always in sync or something. Can you please check so nothing else is missing or what is wrong.

Thank you.

Bumping this again

To explain why I’m pushing on this: [trakt.tv](http://trakt.tv)’s V3 redesign removed the ability to browse monthly new show premieres from the site itself. The API is the only way left to get that functionality back, and I’m on a paid VIP subscription specifically to use it. When the calendar endpoint silently omits shows with no way to detect or work around it, that’s a real functional gap in something I’m paying for, not a minor cosmetic bug.

I’ve also opened this as an issue on GitHub (trakt/trakt-api) with the same findings - it’s been assigned to someone but no reply there either at this point.

Happy to provide any further debugging info needed. Would just appreciate an acknowledgment that someone’s looking at it.

@Sonply not sure if some of this is VIP access level but it may require your side unless the git report is what was needed. Thanks.
