I had a feeling about this and i just confirm it.
In V3 when you got a reply in a comment you do not get notified like before via email.
Please can someone take a serious look of that, we are missing community engagement.

sorry i wasn’t clear maybe.
I mean in the actual site.
The comments/reviews in a movie episode show
Ah, ok. Unfortunately I don’t use that feature so support or someone who uses that would have to respond.
is there anyone on this? can we have at least an acknowledgment of looking into it
@Sonply could you please look into this? Thanks.
Any progress on this? This makes people look bad as ignoring replies and not engaging in the community. Please do something
we are way passed forum questions, i’m not asking, we are not asking how to make the blue color in the background black.
Since V3 we are trying to point out all the bugs or missing features that they stripped out for some reason not publicly announced.
This is a very serious bug, for a site that the whole brand is “community” we are a community of TV enthusiasts. And looking like a snob not answering questions in replies because i have never got an alert like in V2 is major.
Although never discussed, the GitHub Milestones seem to speak volumes about how v3 was/is designed:
Infinity War
March 16, 2026
Everything starts moving at once: systems collide, assumptions break, and the cost of change becomes very real. Core pieces are in place, but the snap happens. Some features disappear, others feel unfinished, and the platform is clearly mid-battle. This is the moment where we accept that rebuilding means letting go before we can move forward.
Endgame
June 30, 2026
What was lost returns, timelines are realigned, and the long arc finally makes sense. This is the final confrontation. Feature parity is achieved, loose ends are tied up, and the platform feels whole again. The dust settles, the system stabilizes, and Trakt emerges stronger… not just rebuilt, but ready for what comes next.
Reloaded
October 1, 2026
The system stabilizes, and the new foundations hold. What was rebuilt now runs with purpose, even if not everything is fully understood yet. This is the moment of calibration. The path forward becomes clearer, but questions remain beneath the surface. We move from rebuilding to operating, setting the stage for what comes next.
Revolutions
December 14, 2026
The cycle breaks, and a new balance emerges. What was in motion resolves into something stable, intentional. This is not an end, but a shift. The system is no longer reacting, it is choosing its direction. With the foundations in place, we move forward with clarity, ready to define what this new era becomes.
seriously? that is absolutely nothing
just thoughts
“The system stabilizes, and the new foundations hold”, what is this? ![]()
We deserve better than that
Are you a shill for trakt? What is that nonsense? You do not replace a product with an incomplete or faulty product. You also hear your client feedback and address the concerns.
Not a shill and don’t necessarily agree. Just trying to give possible insight into what has remained unsaid in the forum.
I don’t think there’s a logical answer to what’s not being said (at least not one that won’t get deleted or banned). Silence speaks volumes.
what you posted i’m sorry but was nothing. complete garbage (it is not your text). Has nothing to say or justify what happens. The silence is very loud.

I’m sorry for the off topic. Still want an answer on the reply no notification.
I know I mentioned the corny GitHub milestones, before my post history got cleared without any notice.
To the actual topic: I am still getting notifications (email, Pushover, and push through the v2 Android app) for list and comment reactions. If replies aren’t sending those, it’s gotta be intentional since the notification machinery itself clearly still works.
just so we are no the same page i’m talking abou the comment/review section of trakt. not here in the forum.
And yes i have my own O365 domain so i know for sure that messages are not in spam/quarantine or whatever. They simple do not sent.
Yes, the forum has never had Pushover notifications to my knowledge, nor push notifications through the Trakt app.
We are no the same page.
Did the new features in the review (which were there in V2) bold, italic etc were more important than actually fix the notification reply of a comment in a show/movie/episode review?
is there an ETA?
