- Code to activate is not given once the 6-digit code is entered. It pops up AFTER you hit the BACK button which invalidates the code to copy. At this point you have to start over again because that code is no longer valid.

Ok. I think you’re misunderstanding the process. The code to activate doesn’t come from Trakt. It comes from the application or addon you’re trying to connect to Trakt.
For example, in the app or addon you select the authorize trakt option. That presents a code (usually shows trakt activation link. At this point when you go to that page you need to log in. You get a code to your email address. Once you enter the code you are logged in and taken to the activation page where you enter the code from your addon or app.
The login code is going to be numbers only and six digits. The authorization code will have numbers and letters.
