I’d like to know why the original/alternate titles are not shown anywhere. They are apparently already used for searching, but there is no way for a user to access that information.
Original title: Ansatsusha de Aru Ore no Status ga Yuusha yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi no Da ga
Trakt Title: My Status as an Assassin Obviously Exceeds the Hero’s
Searching for Ansatsusha correctly returns results including the show, but there is no way to verify it on the actual show information page.
I watch a lot of anime and donghua and there are so many names that a show can go by, and having access to these titles would be immensely helpful. IMDB has a “Also known as” section which is excellent, but even the “Alternative Titles” section of TMDB would be helpful which is the API that’s used here as I remember.
There is already a feature request that has been open since 2020 addressing the issue for episode titles, but I’d like to see it for the actual show/movie titles as well.
Maybe a dropdown or even a linked page to show this information if the reason to not show it is cluttering the UI. This information is already being used by the site, so why not make it accessible to the user?
