I think the recent additions to the app have been great, expanding the filter and sort options to different sections. That being said, I am still missing a proper way to quickly review my watch history in the way I’d like. Expanding the sort and filter options to the watch history section would allow us to quickly sort films by rating, release date or name, making it much easier to navigate and quickly review your watch history. I agree watch date as default makes sense, but getting the option to sort different ways would be much appreciated.
PS: I noted the progress section actually included sort options recently, but that only displays shows, not films.
