Sever Error 500 - Clicking the Show link

So…for the past week or so I have been getting the below screen (see screenshot) when simply clicking the Show link at the top of the page (in the main navigation). This is on the website, obviously, but only on my desktop/laptop. I can’t reproduce this on my phone (using the website).

The link it’s trying to pull is: “Trending shows - Trakt

Works fine here.

Did you have any filters applied? I’d try clearing the Trakt cookies and see if the page loads. If so, please try adding back individual filters (my guess is a “hide” filter is the culprit) and see which one creates the 500 error.

I cleared every Trakt cookie I could find on this machine and it still happens. I even went to try and clear out some old shows from history to try and downsize my data and I can’t get anywhere that “shows” is in the URL: https://trakt.tv/users/terryapodaca/history/shows/added/desc

I got the 500 error on my iPad running chrome when I clicked on you link

I’m trying to clear out old data. I have a feeling it’s the size of my data set(s) causing this. I think Trakt just can’t handle the amount of data being processed based on my “Shows”. I had to do this about a year ago too. Kind of sucks because I have to remove older shows that are “Ended” or “Cancelled” first even though I have watched them…I guess it’s time to remove them from history.

Thanks for verifying that as well.

Oh, the original link pointed to the trending page. This link is your history page and that is a known bug we are looking into.

That is still correct @justin I was just adding to this thread instead of making a whole new post about getting 500 errors.

So to still address the Trending (or even Popular, etc)…I turned off every filter and the page worked. I clicked the Hide → Watched filter and I get the 500 error. So that pinpoints the one filter that causes the error like you asked me to do.

OK cool, thank you. That gives me a good direction to look in next week.
