Sounds like he doesn’t know you can add items as collected on an unknown date (let me use the collection word as it’s super clear it’s not added as watched on an unknown date lol)

Never mind. I just won’tuse the “Unknown Date” feature for items I own and are in my personal possession since apparently it’s not working correctly on my account for whatever reason.
