The new version is basically unusable - how to opt out?

Is there a way to opt out of the new version until it’s actually finished being built? Occasionally I click a link that takes me back to the old version and I can stay like that for a bit until it rams me back onto the new version.

The problem is that the new version has most of the features missing - such as data exports - and frequently shows me blank pages telling me there’s no content - my library page being a key example. Even when trying to cancel my subscription the manage subscription button just opens a new tab with the same page over and over, not actually allowing me to manage my subscription.

I get that you want people to use the new version, but let’s be honest, it’s not in a state that it should be forced on everyone and with the history of how long even simple bugs take to get fixed, it’s going to be mostly unusable for a long time.

As a VIP you should have access to V2 for the time being.

Just an FYI, V2 will be retired completely at some point in the future, possibly before the end of this year, once V3 has all the necessary features that are yet to be implemented ready to go.

I’ve been saying this v3 is incomplete and a pain. Unfortunately the non-VIP have to suffer this nonsense.

That sounds very carefully worded. Just to clarify, does “all the necessary features that are yet to be implemented” mean the same as “all the features that v2 has”?

Hi,
As a VIP user you should be able to still use the old version. If that is not working for you, please try to Sign out of v3, then sign back in. If you login using: https://trakt.tv/signin you should login directly at v2 and continue in it. Keep in mind that eventually that version will be removed.
