What is the proper way to update a TV show that has been deleted from TMDB?

Can TMDB Migration be used to create a new entry and export the data to TMDB?

If it has been deleted from tmdb it’s probably for a good reason, and it should NOT be added again.

If it was a duplicate, just add the correct tmdb ID to the Tvdb entry and the other way around (or at least over at tmdb) for it to synch. If that doesn’t fix it, report to show so Sonply can take a look to fix it manually.

What the above user said is correct.
Also, if that show is already in our database and it has a page on TVDB, we might migrate it to TVDB for now, but that depends on what kind of show it is.

It is currently neither in TMDB nor TVDB. Only in Trakt DB, where it is outdated (missing a few episodes) and so I am looking for an easy way to add them.

However, while writing this post, the whole season has disappeared.

Yes, it was removed here too.
It is a fan edit of a show, so it won’t be allowed on TMDB or TVDB.

Thanks for the explanation. So fan edits are forbidden on Trakt too? I couldn’t find it anywhere.

Yes, since they aren’t allowed on those databases, we wouldn’t be able to update the data here.
