Short description of the issue
- In v3 the home page has a list of shows you are currently watching under the header ‘Continue Watching’. This header takes you through to a page which also has a header of ‘Continue Watching’. However, the shows listed in both pages link inconsistently through to different URLs.
Detailed description with additional context about the workflow
- From the home page, the shows listed link directly through to the episode mentioned. From the progress page (accessed by clicking on the ‘Continue Watching’ header), the shows list link directly to the show, not the episode listed. The key here is that on the progress page the next episode is displayed, so it’s to be expected that this would take you to that episode.

Continue Watching / Progress page
The links from clicking on the images here are a bit strange. For example, for the first one the link from the page is to Brookside, but when you click on it you’re taken to Brookside Season 3. I’m guessing this is because the next episode for me to watch is in Season 3. But because the exact episode is shown, I’d be expecting to be taken to that so that I can read the episode’s synopsis. Instead I now have to scroll through the episodes to find the one I want. In a show with on average 100 episodes per season, this is a ball-ache. I should point out that no other links are offered from this card, apart from the tick and the hamburger menu which aren’t what I’m looking for.
Final note:
This works as expected on Android, so this is inconsistent linking from the V3 web.
