Why is Austin City Limits not automatically refreshing when TMDB is updated?
No clue but have seen posts about other shows recently as well. Maybe the sync is broken or has issues with certain shows.
This has 52 seasons so could that play into it?
@sonply could you please look into this? I see more episodes and it’s been there for a bit. Thanks.
Hi,
That show was updated today and seems to match TVDB, it’s datasource. Is that incorrect?
TVDB has even more episodes listed for S52, 11 total. TMDB has 5. Trakt has only 3.
Hi,
TVDB had 3 episodes listed on that season yesterday. It has 11 now, so those should show up in a refresh in up to 24 hours.
V2 displayed what was the data source (TMDB or TVDB). V3 does not display the data source! The issue here is that I was updating TMDB so the refresh wasn’t happening until somebody updated TVDB. It would be helpful if V3 displayed the data source so we can update the correct source and stop sending “Automatic Refreshes Not Happening” messages to you.
I thought we had moved to TMDb for information?
Are there still things using TVDb and if so how do we know which ones are using TVDb as opposed to TMDb?
Hi,
Some pages are still using TVDB because the data didn’t match and we are woking on a way to migrate them. Eventually all of them should be moved to TMDB.
Currently, it is not shown if the page uses TVDB or TMDB. But if you find any issues, you can ask.
I used to be able to help sort TVDb to TMDb when we could see the comparisons.
OK, thanks for the response anyway.
