We’re kicking off the year with something we’ve been building toward for a while.
Trakt v3 is officially available on iOS and Android
You can now download the new generation of the Trakt app from the App Store and Google Play.
Give the Android version a couple of days to be available. If you don’t see it yet, don’t worry, it’s just progressively rolling out.
This isn’t a small update. It’s a redesigned app with a simpler, more fluid experience and a brand-new foundation built for consistency across platforms and faster iteration going forward.
What you can already do with Trakt v3 on iOS & Android

Browse popular, trending, anticipated titles, and personal recommendations. - Show & movie pages
View overviews, ratings, where to watch, and manage your watch history and watchlist with ease. - Watching & history
Track what you’re watching with Continue Watching and explore your history. - Ratings & favorites
Rate what you watch and favorite shows and movies you love. - Lists & filters
Add shows and movies to personal lists. Filter each view to see shows only, movies only or both together. - Comments & reactions
Read what the community is saying, reply to comments, react, and share your own thoughts on shows and movies.
Some things may feel different, and yes, a few things have stepped back for now. That’s intentional. This new foundation sets us up to move faster and go much further in 2026 and beyond.
