Activating trakt for an addon in Kodi

Short description of the issue

  • Can’t find where to activate my device anymore used to be at the very bottom of your web page

Detailed description with additional context about the workflow

  • Homelander in kodi stopped tracking my trakt progress, and also stopped playing debrid select media. I assumed it would be needing to be refreshed potentially from an update . So I reauthenticated my debrid account and in the process of trying to reauthenticate / activate my trakt account discovered that the website has a whole new layout and cannot find where to activate my device so that I can continue

I’m sure others had the same question and people answered with Sign in to Trakt - Trakt as jluftman says.

You’ll need to look for the trakt settings in the addon to revoke authorization and authorize again.

https://trakt.tv/activate/ is the activation link one the addon gives you the code.

https://trakt.tv/oauth/authorized_applications is where you can see your apps that are connected.

If the connection doesn’t work, you’ll need to reach out the addon dev to figure it out.

Track.tv/activate does not exist. It’s just Trakt is all I get no add device. Time to delete.
