Advanced Search Filters on V3

Is there a way for advanced filtering for searches? Or ANY filtering at all?

On V2 I could save searches with specific filters, like, animated shows airing in 2026, or filter for documentaries.

This was a great way to stay on top of new/upcoming releases as well as specific items I may have missed. Was this removed? Is this going to port to V3?

Yes, we have filters at V3:

You also have the option to create smart lists with the filters you want here:

Those are lists that update automatically, according to the filters you set when you created them.

That only filters things that are currently listed on those four lists: Trending, Anticipated, Releases, and Popular. If an item isn’t on any of those specific lists, I’m unable to filter for them. The same goes for the “Smartlists” which only filter those four lists.

It’s extremely limited.

If I try to filter for action movies for the entire 1980s, it only returns 10 movies.

If I filter for Animated Series released 2026, V3 returns 32 results, while V2 returns over 60.
