I think this is related to the indexing of pages in the new search engine. We recently started testing a new search engine for VIPs and while the data of most shows, movies and episodes is already indexed, some people and lists might still not show up. You can switch to the old engine, if you want, in your settings:

I get to the page by searching top gun and getting his page, shouldn’t the experimental mode be opt in?

I’m not sure if he was talking about the Shows and Movies pages or all indexing at that moment, so I’ll ask since he did mention on that announcement that shows and movies would index first.

If the indexing is totally done, then there might be a bug, so he’ll investigate.
Indexing is done. The search feature is labelled as “experimental” which implies there will be bugs.
