Any preview of feedback on how calendar will work in V3? and will we loose this “must have” filters?
We already have the equivalent of My Shows & Movies, My Movies and My Shows.
We are working on providing more filters to cover the other use cases.
Which one of them would you be most interested in first? Which one of them would you be able to live without?
its easier to say what i feel like i “cant live without” ( bit strong words hehe ) : It´s “New Shows” on All. over the years i started to rely a lot on it, 50% of the shows i watched i wouldn’t get to know them otherwise, especially non-mainstream. its actually my trakt homepage on favorites tab on my browser….

Hijacking this, and thanks. it is driving me crazy the premieres new seasons new shows, i had tone of filters and used this link
to get exactly what i want. Why??
Can you please make a simple convert so i we can copy the bookmark links that we have on displaying the new shows like the above and convert them to usable links that display the information needed

The original issue was closed because its core request was resolved. If you’d like to request additional functionality, please open a new GitHub issue and link to the closed issue for context.
We recommend keeping each issue focused on a single feature, bug, or use case. Smaller, clearly scoped issues are easier to discuss and track than broad issues containing multiple requests.
Your GitHub response let me to believe you agreed that the core request wasn’t resolved. #2511 is the closed request but #1703 should have remained open.

#2511 covered the discovery side of this issue: a broaderAll-style releases view in Discover that surfaces upcoming movies/shows from higher-signal sources. It does not restore the V2-style calendar filters for season finales / series finales.
I closed this too broadly. Finale filtering is a separate use case from Discover Releases, especially for binge watching, and it should not be considered solved by #2511. The remaining gap is clear:/discover/releaseshelps with finding upcoming releases, but it does not replace a calendar filter for season/series finales.
No ETA/promise yet, but agreed that this needs to be tracked as follow-up calendar-filter work rather than treated as completed by the Releases page.

Almost a year of this atrocity is live and now you are getting the request to put the filters in calendar? no one has mentioned this before. What was the purpose of lunching this in new users and non-VIPs, didn’t you get comments then or ignore them and know you are running like crazy to keep the loyal users cause i’m personally telling you that more loyal than me you will not find. But this.

I’m just another user, not a Trakt employee and I’ve been posting and commenting about this for at least six months. I was advised by Kevin to open a new GitHub issue after they had (erroneously) closed this one:

Me too. It’s my most needed missing feature. I was monitoring it, and it was “promised” in the Endgame (v2 sunset) milestone, but they closed it without delivering the filters, which is why there is a new GitHub issue logged.
that just shows something terrible wrong in the process. V2 was for months out with demo users. And again it is not that we do not like the new color, core features are removed, we are not asking for new things!
it is absurd, you removed functionalities of the site, main functionalities.
