Can not watch show because incorrect air date

In V2, you could still watch a show even if the air date is wrong (typically anime), however with the new V3 interface, you can’t do that anymore.

For instance

Crunchyroll is airing Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)!

Episode 4 today, but on trakt, it says the air date is 7 days away.

Can we remove this restriction or correct this behaviour.

theyre testing using other databases to allow for watching early in situations like this. The air date is correct since crunchyroll is airing them earlier than the TV release date in Japan. You can get around this in the mobile apps, specifically the iOS app but you’ll have to check android if that’s your platform

Seems like Android is also restricted. Will try IOS shortly.

I tried IOS and it gives me the error “This hasn’t been released yet” …

Is there a specific way in the IOS app to override or circumvent?

it lets me do it when i long press on the big check mark. i generally use the Watching Now option when i start the episode

Bingo! This works on IOS … but not on Android.

android dev is a few steps behind ios but they will add it
