Everytime I successfuly log I get a webview page with this:
The webpage at trakt://auth?code=REALLY_BIG_NUMBER_HERE could not be loaded because:
net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
After that, even the password is OK the app is unaware: it asks to log in again
Just tested it again, updated the app, reset cache and data. Everything keeps the same.
Since yesterday I cannot acces trakt.tv from Chrome, maybe the issue it’s related.

I’ve changed the password and nothing.
I’ve tried with Firefox and it kinda works, not properly because I have to refresh the page sometimes to be able to do something.
I guess it’s not, since as I wrote, I had this issue for months,
To clarify, I just cannot use the Android app since I installed it on my phone.
Hey! We need some additional info to help troubleshoot this. What version of the app are you using and what device, as well as what web browser that you’re seeing this issue on? Hi Kristin, your post gave me an idea, I change the default browser in my phone from Webview (the default browser) to Chrome and it worked. So this is solved! Thank for your assistance!
Great to hear it’s working now! I faced the same net:ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME error after logging in—turns out the issue was with the default browser too. Switching from Webview to Chrome fixed it instantly. If anyone else runs into this, try changing your default browser in phone settings.
