I’ve been adding my movie collection to trakt, but I have Hellraiser II both on DVD and VHS. Is there a way to collect it 2 times so it shows as both VHS and DVD? I tried and it only lets me change the metadata and not add more.

It doesn’t seem possible indeed.
correct you can only add an item once to your collection. choose the one you’d like to mark as collected, you can add notes to collected items (or nearly anything really) and in the note put the other media types you have it on
That’s a really good solution for now…
Yes, using notes would be my suggestion as well. We unfortunately have no plans to support collecting a movie multiple times. It would be a very large architectural change to do that.
