I am feeling a bit crazy and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have my Emby server linked with Trakt and it has been updating everything just fine for months (or so I thought).
I recently watched a movie and it updated the watch status, but I noticed it showed as not in my collection on Trakt, even though I watched it locally. Obviously it knew what movie it was as it sent the watch data, but didn’t recognize it as being part of my library. I have deleted all the metadata, refreshed, restarted, set a new auth pin… nothing seems to send that data.
I have continued to add new movies and those update just fine. After spending way too many hours on it I was about to manually mark it collected (really bothering me that it wasn’t automatic / tracked properly) when I found another one doing the same thing. I actually found five like this and they were all added to my lib on the same date (in July of this year), but I have many more added on that date (before and after that block) that work just fine.
I think that there was an issue when Emby was sending the updates to the lib to Trakt, meaning Emby does not think it needs to send those “new” movies? Is there a way to force an update of everything?
I’m concerned I just happen to catch this handful and there are others in my lib that are not being tracked, I don’t know of another good way to check this as I was using Trakt as my single source of library truth but now I have concerns ![]()
Thank you for any assistance or ideas.
