Error 500 when trying to mark any episode as watched

Just this morning I started to get an error anytime I tried to mark an episode as watched. It says “Oops - Something went wrong marking show/episode name as watched - A network error occured with code: 500”
I’ve already cleared all cache, progress data, browser data, revoked access, signed in and out, deleted and reinstalled the app, still persists. This only happens on the app, I can add episodes with the website just fine.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I’m dealing with the same problem this morning.

Same here. Logging directly on the site works, but logging through the API is not working.

One would expect this to show on https://status.trakt.tv/.

Makes one question statements like this…

A network error occurred with code: 500

Try signing out then back into the app. Is the app working normally for you otherwise?

Edit: I see this is happening for others and I was able to reproduce it myself. I’ve let the team know.

FYI: it’s also happening in 3rd party apps. (E.g. Rippple)

This issue is now fixed.

This was a code bug, not related to infrastructure.
