I’ve just found myself transitioned to New Trakt and I’m willing to give it a fair shake before I dismiss it, but I’m wondering if someone can help me as I’m partially sighted and having trouble finding a few things.
When using the Calendar feature, I’m wondering how I get it to show upcoming premieres only, as previously there was simply a premieres option on the left hand side and messing with the filters I can’t seem to get it to reproduce this kind of view.
Secondly I’m wondering how I filter by language rather than by region?
My main use for track, was checking the upcoming and popular views to find new shows others were interested in, but also to check what new shows had aired this week or were airing in the upcoming week. I understand every site needs a refresh now and then so I’m not going to complain yet, but are these features missing or am I (pun intended) just being blind?
I have VIP, can’t find it, same as you I can see the ones I am following, but not discover new shows or easily see what Premieres aired this week or are airing next week for shows I may not know about
Hi, that does not produce the intended result as discussed in previous messages.
Using these buttons, you are able to see premieres for all seasons, but only for shows that are on your lists or in your library.
What I am trying to replicate is the functionality from the previous version of the site from using the New Shows toggle. I want to see shows that I have no connection to, that are new, so I can see what new shows aired this week, and decide if I am interested in them.
If there is a way to do this I would love to know.
Ideally it only showing new shows S01E01 sort of thing would be the sweet spot, or even some sort of New This Month style thing like Anticipated. I know that V3 is still being tweaked and adjusted though. Being able to sort Anticipated by either most hyped or date would also allow Anticipated to be used to see what is soon. I think there’s a few ways to get to this functionality, the filters and sorting options are ok but some are less useful than others. I understand that you can’t just load up the bars with lists and filters though as too many and the noise makes it unusable.
Thanks Justin, that would genuinely help. What I miss most from the old calendar is exactly that My/All and New Shows/Premieres filtering, being able to toggle to see every new series premiering that week, across all platforms, not just the ones I’m already following. That’s how I found most of the shows I ended up loving, so losing that view has been the biggest adjustment for me with V3.
Adding those toggles to Releases sounds like a great step in that direction.
