Hide Filter Not Working

When searching for movies, if I choose filter to hide movies I have listed, the functionality only seems to hide about two thirds of the movies I have listed. In contrast, when I choose the filter to fade movies I have listed, the functionality appears to work properly and fade all listed movies. See attached screenshot showing a search with filter to hide listed movies and note that all of the movies are actually listed. I wanted to attach another screenshot showing that the fade filter actually works properly fading all of these movies but since I am a new user, it wouldn’t let me attach more than one pic. What is strange is that the hide filter actually does hide about two thirds of my listed movies while the fade filter correctly fades all listed movies. I am perplexed.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I don’t have an answer, I want to add to this topic.

When I try to hide rated, listed, collected, and watched movies from a search it no longer works. It was working previously.

I can only guess that other people use this website for something other than searching for new movies to watch and add to lists, because it is less enjoyable now.

I just tested myself and I am not having this issue, y’all may want to try resetting your browser data…

This problem is not solved yet. I pressed the reset data button but things didn’t get hidden. I cleared the browser cookies and tried it on several different computers at the library, and at home.

Agreed, the issue is reoccurring, for me as well.
Tested on PC Chrome & Edge, Android Chrome.
Browser Reset, clear cache & cookies, logout & login had no apparent effect.
None of the Lists Filters are working for me, since earlier yesterday.
EDIT: I deleted this post as the issue disappeared, but now it has reappeared, so I don’t know what is going on.

I believe this was related to Cloudflare. I made a change recently so please let me know if it works better now.

Hi Justin. It works for tv show searches now, but it does not work for movie searches.

Thank you! It is working better now, for me anyway.

It’s still not working when you do a filter to find movies. It works correctly for tv shows. I have a new computer now with windows 10 on it.

@tvjackson what is the specific Trakt link?

The filters are a BIG issue. If I select Hide Listed and Watched the fiter does NOT work as it used, It use to actually not show either those Listed or those Watched.

If I Fade those Watched and Hide Listed the Watched Movies are faded and the Listed Movies disappear.

It is frustrating to have to wade through all the movies I have watched to find those that I may want to add to my list to NOPE never watch or MOVIES that I actually plan to watch.

I export all of the (MOVIES) list to a local database so that I can add the streaming service it is shown on (with an Image of that Services Logo). Wish it was easier to find more movies to watch.

How does it work for you now?

This sounds like it is working how you want it to…

Well … it is still NOT working. I said I selected two (2) items to HIDE - LISTED and WATCHED.

AS shown in the image I just captured both WATCHED and LISTED items are showing, when they should be hidden.

BTW this is the way it worked back before the data loss issues.

Did you try to reset your browser cache?
Just go to Settings > Advanced > Reset Browser data.

It is odd this is happening as the filter is working for me as you can see, so it might be a cache issue:

Also, check if no adblocks are turned on.

I am not sure what you mean but this is the text/link from my url bar:
