I am not renewing my VIP. I previously thought the list limit was 10 lists. Mr. G is telling me list limit is now 2! Is this the case and if so, what happens to the lists you already have as a VIP?

everyone gets a base of 2 custom lists. then you get one additional list (up to 8) for each year you’ve been with trakt for a total of 10 custom lists. if you have more than that, the other lists don’t get removed but you can’t modify them. same with the number of items in the list, you get up to 100 per list

Sonply marked my answer as the solution so for now it’s current. like the link i posted with it, justin mentions that if people abuse signing up for VIP for a month just to get lists then they’ll revisit the situation so as usual it only takes a few to ruin it for everyone
yeah i hear you. if you’re VIP then you don’t have anything to worry about
yeah that’s fair if that’s mainly what you do. i just started using lists myself. if you haven’t seen or heard, try mdblist.com. you can do some lists there that will sync over to trakt and they auto update. like say you wanted to track all the movies by a certain director, they can do that
