How to add a TV show to the Library?

I have one new show I want to follow. What should be the right action to start following it in Trakt like I used to do with Collections?

You could add to Watchlist.

Library (Collection) is really for those items you have in your possession (physical or digital).

But watchlist items are removed once you watch, so how do I ensure I’ll not miss future episodes and future seasons?

Yes you are correct. As soon as you start to watch a show it removes from Watchlist and then you will find it in:

But don’t panic if you don’t see it as they appear once the next episode is near due (not sure how long).

I have lots of shows I am watching and the majority are waiting on the next series so do not appear on here yet.

I have a Personal List with all my shows I am watching and fiddle with spreadsheets to follow them.
