That show has been imported here: Trakt Web: The F1 Show
If the show has the external IDs, it should import automatically. If it doesn’t, you can report here in the forums.

I see that, but the issue is that the data in TVDB is more complete.
Can it be set to have TVDB as the source rather than the incomplete data at TMDB?

I can’t speak to that for sure, but for a couple other shows, I had to add and clean up on TMDB myself. You could flag it for mods (don’t know if the can import from a csv or not, but when I did that way it took months.

Yes, I started with the best of intention to create, but with hundreds of episodes it doesn’t feel practical to add it all manually, especially when TVDB has all that information.
