How do I get rid of something in Up Next

I am “this close” to canceling my VIP membership. So much has changed. What was simple to navigate and use has become a real chore. Someone please tell me how to remove items that we no longer watch.

go to the series page and click the drop icon

its the bottom circle with the minus in it.

your screenshot is from v2 and very little has changed in the past year aside from adding the drop option

Can you do this from the app? On the app I can’t find my complete library or collection whatever it’s called now.

go to the show page not the episode or season page

I really appreciate you taking time to help me. I’m clearly having a problem. Where is the “show page”? When I click on “Show” at the top, I get everything. Not “my” shows. Please tell me where to find this.

go back to your dashboard and click on the show/series that you’re trying to drop. if it takes you to the episode page you need to click on the title of the show/series to get to the overall show/series page and you can drop it from there

The user above replied to your question. I just wanted to add you can also drop a show from that section in the old website using this icon:

In the new website and in the apps, just look for the 3 dots on the screenshot of the episode in the “Continue Watching” section:

That would be great. I see the three dots … but when I “try” to click on them, it actually opens that episode page. I don’t get the menu in your screenshot.

The 3 dots option I mentioned is for dropping the items in the official apps and the new website.
The design should be this:

The screenshot you sent is using the old website, where you can drop items on the show page or in the “up next” section. You can do that in that version of the website clicking in this icon:

The 3 dots you mentioned there is just to indicate that there are more words in the title of the episode.

Ah…thanks. What about this? Why do the shows I’ve dropped still appear, but with the minus sign in a circle?

I’ve been dropping stuff like a Saints WR. What about this: items I’ve dropped still appear in my list but with a minus sign in a circle. Do they not just go away?

that is the progress page, you can change the filters on the top right to not include dropped shows etc

OK, two screenshots because I have to be at the top to see the filter. I don’t see where I filter out dropped shows. Again, I so appreciate your help.

ok then dropped isn’t an option to hide since they should be hidden by nature of dropping. so the big circle with the line you’re seeing should be either a way to drop the show from that progress page or a way to un-drop a show you’ve previously dropped. i honestly don’t use the progress page much so if you’ve dropped a show and it still appears then it could be a caching issue with your browser

I just want to be able to log in, either on the app or the web and see my collection, library, list, whatever it is. I want to be able to add and drop easily. I must be missing something. I consider myself “somewhat” tech-savvy, but this is kicking my butt. :slight_smile:

dropping really is easy. if you use the app or v3 website then you click on the three dots on an episode in the continue watching section to drop the show. if you want to keep using v2 website while you can, sonply showed you where to click.

to find your lists and library you can do that mostly from the profile tab, the only thing for the library if you need to change the type from plex to custom to see everything (unless of course you actually sync using plex)
