Hundreds of movie rewatches added last night

Short description of the issue

  • At 20:10 and 20:19 PDT last night trakt suddenly marked thousands of movies I’d previously seen as rewatched. I’m not sure if I should be waiting for it to self resolve or if there is a known fix I’ve missed.

This occurs on my s24u android on the mobile app, and the website v2/v3.

Please advise.

Update: I just scrolled through a bunch and found it added 90 pages of my now 330 pages of total lifetime watches of all media.

For whatever reason it’s just movie rewatches that were added. Tv shows are fine.

However, at the same time last night all my tv show watches albeit fine on trakt were deleted/cleared off series guide (a third party app I use for tv tracking).

Not sure if the issues are related.

I had to use a week old auto backup twice on their app to get those watches back.

Over 5300 plays were added in those 90 pages. Wild stuff.

For me, it was a few tv series episodes that added a bunch of rewatches. Not sure what happened.

Also, my third party apps that sync with trakt are no longer syncing

I’d take your few EPs over my 5300+ movies haha. I’m sure they’ll get it sorted.
