Most played makes total sense for shows. But for movies it doesn’t because i think 90% of people don’t watch a movie multiple times in the same year (you can verify that if you want to make a data driven decision😁).
Replacing this widget in the “Year in review” page with “top rated movies” makes more sense.
I also see that the “most watched movies” makes sense in the all-time review.
You make a good point regarding most played not making total sense, especially for month in review/year in review, though I know not everyone rates movies (myself included) so I’m not sure that would be the best change for every user. We’ve discussed internally making changes to the stats presented in YIR, so I’ll make sure to bring this up with the team 
Fully agree here. For movies, it really doesn’t make sense to have ‘most watched’ as the rankings. I also hardly ever re-watch movies within the same year, and never would within the same month.
Having movies that just happen to have a long run time be the only reason they’re at the top of a list doesn’t make much sense.
