Is there any way to see / edit metadata from Plex Sync?

@Justin Before we were forced into V3 there was a way to see the metadata of items that had been added to our Library, i.e. resolution, codec, audio codecs, etc. In fact it was mandatory.

I am assuming Trakt is still collecting this as there doesn’t seem to have been any change made to Plex Sync. But it appears we aren’t able to see (or thus correct) any of the data associated with any of the Syncs taking place since V3 has become a thing.

Is there going to be a return to us being able to see / edit metadata again? If not why are you still collecting our data?

Also, for the record, could you confirm that when I delete my Library that will also in fact delete the associated metadata gathered to date.

Yes, still saving the metadata like before. You can see it via the API for now.

Not sure on that, but mostly likely not since the library sync has changed to be a background process instead of part of the main Trakt UI for web and mobile. The APIs still exist, so 3rd party apps can integrate it differently.

Yes, metadata is attached to the individual library item so if deleted, that would go with it. The metadata doesn’t have any identifying info about the underlying file. It only has the high level metadata fields as mentioned in the API docs. We don’t save the local filename for example.
