trying to login to trakt TV from my android TV ignored

one tv can log in; 2 other tvs cannot

Same(?) issue here on a Hisense 65U88N.

Scanning the QR Code displayed on the TV, then signing in on my phone, gets the “Woohoo!” response on trakt.tv, then the TV screen refreshes with a new QR Code, rinse & repeat.

Entering code manually gives same [lack of] results.

I downloaded a new copy of cinemaHD onto my TVs and then I was able to login to Trakt TV successfully

Glad you solved your issue. Mine is still happening.
I guess my issue is not the same since I don’t have Cinema HD, nor does it seem to be available for download to my TV.
I don’t know how that app could affect being able to login to the Trakt TV app anyway.

My TV is android. I downloaded the latest version of cinemaHD onto the TV and the login now works fine.

My Hisense TV has Google TV with Android TV OS 12.

I have been unable to login to the app Trakt Version 1.10.1 on my TV.

It was not a big deal as I mainly use the Trakt website on my PC and the Trakt app on my Android phone. I just thought I would try out the Trakt TV app.

I am not familiar with CinemaHD and have never had it installed anywhere.

Can you check if your Android TV OS is up-to-date?

The system check indicates there is no update available.

The login issue, on my system, appears to now be resolved.

Has the Trakt app been released for Android TV? Did you install it as an APK?
