Marking a movie or episode as watched

this could have been mentioned by someone, but couldn’t find it.

I use the android app and when I start watching a movie or episode from a show I click the button “Nu aan het kijken” or in English “Watching now”, the progressbar at the bottom of the screen appears, but the movie or episode does not get marked as watched.
Also when the movie is over, or the episode for that matter, it’s still not marked as watched.
Sometimes the progressbar is still there, I have to cancel it, and mark the movie or episode as watched by hand.

Also when I’m binch watching a show, The progressbar end at, let say, 21:29, I can’t mark the next episode “Watching now” untill the progressbar is gone, and the minute it ended has passed.

In the old app I could mark the next episode as “watching now” a couple of minutes before the calculated endtime.

I have this problem too, and sometimes right after I rate a video, the rating just straight-up disappears.

use the Just know option while mark the episode or movie you watched. It will automatically take the time of the movie running from the IMDB let say if you fast forward the series by 10 mins you have wait another 10 mins to show as marked as watched so just click on the just now after watching the episode

I did check off the “watched” box y’know, normally your rating’s supposed to pop up right after you mark it. But just two seconds later, both the “watched” mark and the rating just poofed—vanished into thin air like a flash!

Same here, sometimes my older rateings are gone to in the trakt app for iOS

Do you also have this problem when using the web version? Because I have this problem myself.

Testing if I could reproduce this using the android app, I marked an episode as “watching now”, then the progress bar appeared and the episode was already in the history. Could you please share a video showing that this didn’t happen for you?
Does this happen every time?

As for the rating issue, I would also need a video and the circunstances where that happened, to help with the investigation.

I believe i ansvered the wrong question, i didn’t ansver my watch now behavior i ansvered the rating bugg, where all my rating s are gone in iOS trakt app, but seems to work in ripple, i haven’t bothered checking website, since that takes to long to load

Here’s a similar example. The watched ✓ icon won’t show up, and the rating after finishing watching will only be visible for two seconds before it disappears.

It’s not always happening, but last night I marked Super 8 as watching now.
It looked like it would be marked as Watched, but this morning I noticed it hadn’t.

It’s beginning to be pretty annoying. Watching multiple episodes is becoming a pain, now even the movies I watch are not marked.

The new Android app is really bad.
