Missing movie Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness

this is the director’s cut of Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver

the director’s cut of the part one is here, but not part two.

Since trakt uses TMDB, please provide that link. Also, the IMDB ID should be in the External ID section. Thx

Although the movie exists, and is streamed on Netflix, it does not show on IMDB or TMDB.

So I guess we won’t get that movie, thanks to the gods at IMDB / TMDB.

You might want to actually read the title and my post.

You would have saved yourself some unnecessary wasted time.

I apologize. You posted the other title and I missed the title.

That’s ok. We all make mistake. I do appreciate the apology very much. Have a nice day.

Ok. I submitted on IMDB but no guarantee it will take. On Netflix it’s listed as the same second movie, just a director’s cut of it. I don’t know if IMDB will list it separately or not because of that. In any case, if it gets created then a TMDB entry could be addressed next.

TMDB doesn’t usually allow a separate entry for director’s cuts. They only allow the original version of the movie, that’s why it doesn’t have the Lord of the Rings director’s cuts.

that’s why being a slave of another website database is never a good idea.

you don’t make the rules, the database owner does.

still, some one could explain why the director’s cut of part one is here, and not part two.

this STILL does not make sense, what ever excuse people find to it.

It’s on Trakt because it got imported at some point. In the meantime, it got deleted from TMDB. So either the Trakt team didn’t catch it, or they just were nice enough to leave it untouched.

I’ll take a guess and say it’s probably the latter because they also did not delete the director’s cuts of LOTR trilogy (example), and the entry has been there for quite some time.

What I do in this situation is I just log the normal second movie, and add a note saying “Director’s cut.” This is the best solution when there’s no other choice except to follow TMDB’s (not always logical) rules.
