Missing Personal Notes due to the new UI (Web & Android)

Following the recent UI changes, I’ve noticed that my personal notes have effectively disappeared from view. I have saved extensive notes across different sections: individual movie pages, my viewing history, the Watchlist, and my Collection.

With the new interface, I can no longer find where these notes are displayed, either on the web or the Android app. Could you please clarify if these were removed or where they have been moved? It is crucial for users to have immediate access to their personal data and records within the new layout.

Notes are currently not displayed in the new UI. It is planned to bring them back (in multiple steps):

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for posting. I’m facing the same issue on iOS. I had notes on my Watchlist to remind me who had recommended that particular media to me and why. I am very disappointed that Trakt removed access to these notes without warning, since I now have no way of accessing them for the foreseeable future. I have tried exporting my data, but I didn’t see the notes included there either. If there is some workaround to access my notes, I would love to hear it.

ETA: I see the notes on web, since that’s still on the classic version! A bit annoying, since I primarily use Trakt via the app, but at least I can access the info at all

For iOS, I can recommend you to use Rippple for Trakt. It fully supports Notes via the Public API. You can use that app in the mean time to access your notes.
Note: I’m the developer/creator of Rippple.
