Movie not imported - The Cottage (2022)

Hi,

Went to log a film but couldn’t find it. Checked on TMDb and it’s got a page on there, which was created back in 2023 and did already have the IMDb link added, so not sure why it hasn’t imported yet.

Here’s the TMDb link if somebody could help get it added, please:

I recall with the previous (better) iteration of Trakt, there was a link on the site for users to be able to directly add missed items to the site with a TMDb number, however I have no idea where this now resides on the current version of the site, if indeed it even still exists somewhere.

Pages are imported automatically now, if they have external IDs.

Well, thanks for the direct link, Sonply, but I don’t know how you found it because it doesn’t come up in the search results, and in fact still doesn’t:

As I say, when I checked TMDb yesterday afternoon, the IMDb ID was already present and had been added years ago.

While I was there, I added photos for all the cast and filled in other extra info for the film - the cast photos already seem to have been pulled through for the Trakt page in less than 24 hours.

Did you add this film off the back of my request?

not sure why it doesn’t always work with title but if you search using the tmdb id it comes up. compare below

Ah. Thanks, Otakunet21 - a useful hack, even if we shouldn’t need to do that!

Is there still an ability to manually add missing movies / shows like you could on the previous site iteration, with a TMDb ID?

items automatically import of the requirement external ids are added at tmdb, and they have an english translated title and summary if needed as well from what I’ve seen. @RoiDesRois can help explain more of the other stuff. I just know for sure the IDs need to be added

That’s mostly it.

For the external IDs, there is no TVDB for movies so that needs to be IMDB. You can add both for TV shows.

There are some, usually anime, where TMDB will split seasons but TVDB and IMDB do not. That’s something admins need to assist with.

I’ve also seen some where everything is good but hasn’t imported within 24 hours. That’s when the ticket/post is necessary.
