My V2 Library is not exported on V3. I have 35696 items in my library, visible on V2 and exactly zero on V3 and since VIP will be force fed the bloody V3 at the end of the month, i would at least have my collected items available on the new site for the remainder of my paid VIP year (I’m subscribed until May 2dn 2027, I will not be renewing if i don’t see significant ameliorations on V3 before that date, but until then I’ll still use the inferior version))
Hi,
Is your Library using Plex Sync or is it the custom Library?
If it is not using Plex sync, you need to change the view to show the custom Library here:
@Sonply@kcador@justin FWIW I’ve reported this issue numerous times. There are several instances where Plex Sync causes synced items to appear in the Custom library section.
The primary one occurs if when syncing it detects BluRay or DVD in the title. This has been a reported bug and issue for 6+ months. Even correcting that at a later point manually in V2 (while we can still actually edit and access metadata of our Library) doesn’t always shift it over to the Plex Library.
The other issue that can cause this is if for whatever reason the Sync doesn’t pick up the resolution of the new library addition. This seems to primarily occur if the Sync runs concurrently with a new item being added to the Library and still being scanned and analyzed by Plex (e.g. intro etc). It will end up merely having “Digital” as part of the metadata and nothing else, but then when manually adding the resolution and audio track details it remains stuck in Custom.
And while I am detailing issues that are unfortunately absent from being able to manage our Library, the most annoying one is if Plex mismatched an item which got synced as an incorrect series / movie. Fixing the match in Plex causes the correct item to be added, but it doesn’t ever seem to remove the mismatch. And in V3 there’s absolutely no way of removing an item Trakt believes is in the Library.
And then of course, there’s still the issue that we can’t filter our library or even search it…
