Does your collection show on the Trakt webpage?
If so, it’s not a Trakt issue. You’d need to reach out to the Kodi addon devs or groups for support.
I see my watchlist but not my collection.
When I try to add to collection it donsn;t do anything.

If you own a large media collection and want to use Trakt to keep track of it, you’ll want to buy a vip subscription.
Im facing the same issues and im a vip member, only the most recent added movies are in my collection but it’s only movies I added directly on the trakt website. I have almost 8,400 movies, im not going to go through 139 pages and re-add them to my collection. On trakt I can see my entire collection but in kodi it’s gone. Even my lists. They had less movies then my collection and they are not there as well. Its been like this for months, it’s annoying.
If you can see them on the website, they’re not gone. Why would you try to re-add? Sounds like whatever Kodi addon you’re using isn’t handling large lists correctly.
I recommend using a better addon. Fen Light AM and Seren are the best. Install them and i guarenteeyou will see your collection 8]
I don’t have a large list of movies or tv shows. I delete them after the series ends or movies have been watched on the addons. Do i need to delete from the website also?
Why are you using Collections for this? Your watchlist will do this without intervention.

it might have been assigned to a few of us cuz you can’t choose it at all
Tv shows that are current and I’m watching are in my collection. I move them to watchlist when a season ends and wait for the next season.
So I should just put everything in watchlist?
Right now trakt will not add anything to my watchlist. I can only watch by doing a search. If I show it as watched it disappears from the season rather than being checked.
not sure why you’re collection for your watched shows. that’s what continue watching is for.
Continue watching - for shows where you’ve started. all new episodes show up there and when you’re caught up, it goes away until a new episode airs.
Watchlist - shows and movies you plan to watch that you have not started. it stays in watchlist until you have at least one episode or the movie marked as watched. Once you watch at least one episode, it gets auto removed from watchlist and moved to continue watching (which also shows up in recently watched).
Library (fka Collection) - kinda repurposed for plexsync and not very user friendly anymore
