At the top of your screen, you’ll find a toggle that lets you choose what you want to see:

Media (Shows + Movies) — this is a combined view of both shows and movies

How titles appear can vary depending on the option you choose—here’s how each list works:
Continue Watching
This is your “pick up where you left off” lane.

Shows appear with the next available episode based on your most recent activity.

Movies show up here if you were watching them through a connected media center or streaming service and didn’t finish (they come from your playback data).

If you’re viewing Media: episodes and paused movies are blended together based on that same recent-activity ordering.
Start Watching
This is where New Trakt really shines.
Start Watching surfaces newly released titles from your Watchlist, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Shows appear based on the title’s airdate

Movies appear based on the title’s cinema release date

If you’re viewing Media: they’re interwoven into one clean, chronological stream, helping you jump into the newest things you’ve been meaning to watch.
And don’t worry, your Watchlist isn’t going anywhere. You can still access it under lists. Start Watching simply gives you a smarter, “don’t forget about this!” view of what’s newly available right on your home page.
