Truth be told. $30/year for the VIP features was too expensive. I really felt like an idiot opting into the plan but I’m big on aesthetics and really wanted the widgets. Fast-forward 6 years and I realize that the widgets aren’t useful enough to justify $30/year.

My renewal is on May 20. I have receive NO email. I am not paying 2x the price w/4 days notice simply because I happened to notice a Reddit thread, not communication from Trakt. What an abysmal customer experience.

I got the email yesterday, I pay as much as you do and my renewal is also in september. So I still have VIP until then, but will be fully deleting my account as well, instead of keeping free tier.
