Is there a quick way to see which episodes haven’t been watched. I have a tv show (Panorama) which has 40+ series in it. If I have missed one episode causing it to appear in my Unwatched Shows filter, how do I find which series/show hasn’t been watched without manually working through each series one-by-one looking at the Progress indicator?

Unfortunately v3 don’t know anymore , if you seen last aired episode it’s gone to your completed, if available I haven’t found a easy way to find the unseen episodes in a show in v3 where v2 had so many easy ways. Don’t know if its a bug or inttional from trakt development side.
Seems like an obvious requirement doesn’t it, so it’s strange it’s been lost from v2 to v3. This example has 2,157 episodes across 40+ series, and the v3 site is giving me no choice but to look for the unwatched episodes manually.
If you were able to see unwatched before with v2, then not now that makes no sense. What are you using to stream, there settings inside sometimes to show watched and unwatched
?, manuell trakt traking no, sync or webhook to plex etc. Trakt have become insane hard to have full control, etc I’m sorry I’m not sure I understand your question.
Whilst I appreciate that with V3 you have lost the ability to do what you used to be able to in V2
There is a (convoluted) way of doing what you want from the Export file.
I have just looked at my watched history for tv shows and can see all I have watched and, yes there is work to do, but can see if I have missed anything.
In this case there are 33 Aired Episodes and I have watched 33
Appreciate the solution changnoi but is this really what Trakt expect us to do…?
There’s a one keypress way to filter watched/unwatched in the My Lists for completed shows (same as before), but they’ve removed/missed that option within a show itself (that existed in v2 but doesn’t in v3). Isn’t that a basic requirement for a tv/movies tracking platform? Having to download excel files to find the unwatched episodes is ridiculous. I can see progression in this V3 version with some parts of the site but some of the most basic and useful things that they’ve dropped from v2 are quite bizarre. What’s that saying - sometimes you shouldn’t fix what isn’t broken.
If you want to find missing episodes, you can go to the show page and look at the each season to see the progress. In general, if you are up to date with a show, we assume you skipped the other episodes and have no interest in them being in your continue watching section.
If you do want to know more about the show progress, that can be found within the show page:
Use the indicators under the poster to know if you have unwatched episodes within a season.
No checkmark, means unwatched. A half filled checkmark, means you did not watch all episodes. A full checkmark means you have watched all episodes of that season.
So you just need to look at the posters of each season, to find the one that you have not watched fully.
I appreciate the method you’ve shown, which I’d worked out for myself previously. But to give you an example of why that isn’t a practical or progressive solution (when a one button solution was available on v2) - Panarama has 2,158 episodes spread over 40+ series…and it randomly appeared on my ‘unwatched filtered’ list a few days ago. I had to manually go through 40+ series one by one and scroll through 2,158 episodes to find the unwatched show, to see what it was before I could mark it watched.
Sometimes people miss shows because they were unaware they were on, the database updates later than the programs were screened, people get behind on watching a show, etc, etc. There’s all sorts of reasons, and people use your platform in different ways, not just the one assumptive way that you mentioned.
Is it possible to update the site please to have that watched/unwatched filter within a show as well. You have it for Lists, so it’s not like you’d have to develop something new…and of course it existed in v2.
I appreciate your response and hope you will consider rectifying a feature that is definitely a backwards step from v2 to v3, which I’m sure is not what you were trying to achieve.
